Role Overview
As MIRROR’s VP of Media Partnerships and Business Development, you will oversee partnerships related to media, business to business, sales, and any other vertical aimed at enhancing our content offering and expanding our distribution. This Head of Business Development will be adept in completing analyses on the value of new business deals and should have proven quantitative ability. As MIRROR continues to grow, we are looking for someone who can execute large-scale multi-million dollar partnership and business development deals. You will be joining the Operations and New Business Team, reporting into the VP, Head of of Operations and New Business.
Your perspective will help MIRROR to manage partner portfolios and execute deals as well as develop partnerships strategy with respect to fitness studio partners, music, and commercial partnerships, and we look forward to becoming a better organization because of it. How You’ll Add Value:
  • Building business cases and investment parameters for partners
  • Working with finance to develop pricing models for B2B / volume sales
  • Building partner relationships and pipeline
  • Partnering with MIRROR’s Content, Strategy and Data teams + relevant lululemon teams to prioritize target partners and make renewal decisions about partners
  • Executing negotiations and contracts
  • Collaborating with the product team to develop long-term product strategy for the commercial vertical
What You Bring to the Team:
  • Experience building and maintaining robust external relationships by understanding partner goals to drive large volume business deals
  • Ability to lead analyses to determine deal quality, revenue + profit contribution, financial terms of deals vs. competitive benchmarks
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to evaluate ROI against your strategies
  • Ability to think strategically, navigate ambiguity, and problem solve with limited guidance
  • 10+ years of general business development and partnership experience
  • Preference for finance or consulting background and/or proven quantitative ability
