The Task At-Hand:
Social Media is JuneShine’s #1 consumer engagement channel and this role is on the front lines. Reporting directly to the Content Manager, you are serving as the Social Content Creator & Coordinator across all key social media channels—especially hands on with short form video creation on TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. You will create and coordinate content outflow and manage the JuneShine social communities.
Who You Are:
You have at least 1-2 years of experience coordinating social media channels for a lifestyle brand. You are someone who is genuinely passionate about social media and considers themself on the cutting edge—always staying ahead of the next trends on TikTok, Reels and YouTube Shorts. You consider yourself a natural creative and love to create content from scratch. You create bold, engaging and attention-grabbing short form videos. You’re comfortable behind and in front of the camera and can edit video with ease. You are also good with a “pen” and possess a knack for writing captions, managing content calendars, and engaging with online communities effectively. You’re comfortable in new settings and good with people. You are quick on your feet and love capturing the moment.
Social Content Creation & Coordination: Responsible for working with the Marketing Team to plan, create, calendar, and carry-out social content to maintain a unique digital experience and unified brand voice
•       Create, edit and share Social content— especially video and photo content on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts and Facebook
•       Manage consumer-facing communities— responding to comments, commenting on others + light work in DMs. DM management mainly focused on supporting and mining User Generate content (UGC). Does NOT include responding to order-related / customer care / answering “Tickets”
•       Attend select local events and produce real-time social media content coverage
•       Review analytics and report on key metrics
•       Planning, managing and executing social giveaways
Copywriting Support:
•       Serve as a natural extension of the brand voice, help pinch-hit with various one-off copy needs
•       Miscellaneous one-off support with emails, sms, ads copy
Campaign and Creative Support 
•       Assisting on/with photoshoots — plugging in with creative team to source props/supplies as well as being hands-on with production on set
•       Help with various one-off requests from marketing team (individual POS/merch orders, partnerships, PR)
Website Updates: 
•       Support product launches – updating Product Detail Pages (PDPs), Landing Pages (LPs)
•       Updating homepage hero and site content regularly
•       JuneShine Blog management
Must Haves:
•       Must be 21 years of age or older at the time of application
•       Passion and excitement for social media— eats, sleeps and breathes social, especially short form video
•       Brand-focused social savviness —understands the spectrum of factors that can impact brand success on social
•       Proficiency with major social media platforms and social media management tools
•       Proficiency with video and photo editing—in that order
•       Ability to understand historical, current, and future trends in the digital content and social media space
•       Strong graphic design skills (well-versed in photoshop)
•       Excellent creative and copywriting and copy editing skills
•       Strong social listening skills
•       Top-notch written and verbal communication skills
•       Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask
•       Detail-oriented approach with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
•       Willing and able to travel within So Cal for various events, shoots and one-off activations at least 5 days per month.
