Interwell Health seeks a proficient and driven Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator to join our Marketing Operations team. This individual will spearhead the development, implementation, and maintenance of our Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform. The ideal candidate will possess fluency in Email Marketing, Journey Builder, Social Studio, and Advertising Studio within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform.

To be successful, the candidate will demonstrate robust expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud functionalities, ensuring the seamless execution of successful marketing initiatives. They must have a service-oriented mindset as well as a passion for technology and innovation. Qualified candidates should possess strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate technical details to non-technical staff in an understandable way.  The role of a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator is instrumental in harnessing the power of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and driving successful marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

Salesforce Administration:

  • Daily administration and support of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform. This includes, but is not limited to managing user setup, permissions, and roles.
  • Manage data quality and ensure data integrity within the platform by collaborating with data teams.
  • Perform regular system updates, patches, and enhancements.
  • Stay up-to-date with Salesforce updates and best practices, and proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance user experience.
  • Collaborate with team members to integrate Salesforce Marketing Cloud with other systems, ensuring seamless data flow and integration points.

Campaign Management:

  • Design, execute, and monitor marketing campaigns leveraging Salesforce Marketing Cloud tools (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, etc.). while maintaining corporate visual identity and brand standards while following digital marketing best practicesCreate personalized and targeted email communications, utilizing segmentation and automation features.
  • Implement best practices for email deliverability, A/B testing, and optimization.
  • Partner with the Marketing and Analytics teams to create campaign reports for performance and to guide future strategy.
  • Partner with Analytics team to develop a test and measurement strategy, monitoring, and reporting on email performance to build email messages for increased engagement and conversion.

Collaboration and Support:

  • Collaborate with business users to understand their requirements and translate them into effective Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions.
  • Provide training and support to end-users to maximize platform utilization and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide technical assistance as needed.

Reporting and Analytics:

  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track campaign performance and key marketing metrics.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.


  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and training materials are up-to-date.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 7+ years professional work experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Marketing Cloud for a high growth company.
  • Strong technical knowledge and proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform configuration and administration.
  • Experience with Email Studio, Journey Builder, Mobile Studio, Social Studio, Landing Pages, and Marketing Cloud Personalization.
  • Strong understanding of marketing automation principles and best practices.
  • Proficient in data management and analytics.
  • Experience with data privacy and security.
  • SQL and AMP scripting experience a very strong plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication as well as collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Ability to act independently in both surfacing and facilitating issue resolutions.
  • Salesforce CDP knowledge is a plus, along with platform familiarity, efficient data management, and personalization skills, etc.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications (such as Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Administrator) are a plus.
