Interwell Health seeks a seasoned Accounting professional! As the Manager, Accounting reporting directly to the Controller, you’ll be responsible for overseeing and managing the accounting activities of a business unit, leading a talented team of accountants, spearheading the month-end close process, implementing innovative billing solutions, and ensuring flawless revenue recognition. Your expertise will drive process improvements, support internal controls, and elevate our financial reporting to new heights. What you’ll do:

  • Manage month-end close process and general ledger including preparing journal entries, reviewing financial results, and completing reconciliations. 
  • Generate regular reports on finance performance, including key metrics and trends, and support FP&A’s reporting needs.
  • Supervise and build a strong accounting team to fit the needs of the growing business need. 
  • Develop and implement robust revenue recognition policies per industry standards and regulatory requirements. 
  • Analyze complex revenue transactions to ensure accurate and timely recognition. 
  • Manage the billing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for clients, addressing billing-related inquiries, and actively seeking process improvements through cross-functional collaboration, with a focus on automation. 
  • Develop and monitor internal controls to minimize financial risk, identify opportunities, and collaborate with external auditors during audits. 

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred. 
  • Proven, progressive accounting experience, preferably in revenue accounting or a related role. 
  • In-depth knowledge of revenue recognition principles and accounting regulations. 
  • Strong leadership and team management skills. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. 
  • Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
