ABOUT THE ROLE

Thesis is looking for a hands-on, creative Video Editor to produce compelling video content across our marketing channels (digital and TV ads, social and site). In this role, you will bring the brand to life through video content that distills our value proposition, educates, and inspires.. You will have the opportunity to work across a wide variety of content, from punchy digital ads and social posts to longer-form educational content for our customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute audio mixing, color correction / grading, and sizing to spec for digital distribution across a variety of different sizes and aspect ratios
  • Develop and hone our visual consistency on video, building on our existing brand architecture to ensure we are making the maximum impact with our consumer across touchpoints
  • Work closely with Growth team stakeholders to understand data and insights behind creative performance, and use learnings to inform future work 
  • Create paid social media ads with compelling motion graphics to boost engagement and conversions.
  • Edit a variety of video assets, including ads, social posts, website videos, and webinars / educational content 
  • Assist with video production and post-production, working in close collaboration with the Creative Director to bring campaigns to life
  • Design and produce high-quality motion graphics and animations for digital platforms, including websites, social media, and video content.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop concepts and storyboards.
  • Edit and enhance video content with motion graphics and visual effects.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate innovative techniques into projects.
  • Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and deliver on project goals.

BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE

  • 4-7 years of relevant experience, ideally in a start-up environment
  • Experience in digital video editing, preferably with a focus on digital advertising 
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Premier and After Effects and experience with full Creative Cloud suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) 
  • Have a deep understanding of visual and social media trends
  • Have strong prioritization and organizational skills
  • Are unafraid to ask questions and over-communicate with team members
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

$90,000$105,000 USD
