About the Role:

Papa is looking for a Director to join the Strategy and Business Operations team. The Strategy and Business Operations team partners with all groups across Papa to help scale the business and enable growth. We work closely with leadership to parachute into any problem areas, dig in, and create solutions. The team executes on strategic initiatives and provides decision support to leadership, delivering objective analysis and insights. We also develop cross-functional processes, including overseeing Papa’s planning and OKRs structure.

In this role, you will have two key mandates. First, you will support the Strategy and Business Operations team’s broader mission whereby you will work on a variety of ad hoc projects that help grow Papa’s revenue and/or increase its operational efficiencies. Second, you will work directly with senior leaders to develop and crystalize Papa’s go-to-market strategy and offerings. This will be done by analyzing data and market trends, assessing go-forward options, and driving resolution on where to invest. Last, you will work with Sales, Product, and other key partner orgs to ensure the strategy gets commercialized.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Own ambiguous, high-stakes projects end-to-end with limited oversight; projects can be both strategic and/or operational in nature
  • Dig into data, conducting complex analysis around market and competitive trends, including reading extensive external research, analyzing internal and external data, and conducting interviews with subject matter experts
  • Synthesize findings to share with senior management and relevant stakeholders to keep them abreast of any changing market trends
  • Leverage analyses to form specific recommendations on go-forward solutions
  • Create the forums for the relevant decision makers to agree on solutions, prepping for the meeting’s logistics and content
  • Develop robust rollout plans to take solutions from ideation to reality
  • Run PMOs to monitor the progress of all steps to land the initiative

About You:

  • 6-10+ years of experience in a mix of strategy consulting, business operations, and/or other strategy or operations roles; an MBA is a plus
  • Preference for someone with healthcare experience and/or someone who has worked on go-to-market initiatives
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills with the ability to distill complex thoughts and strategies into simple, actionable recommendations
  • Analytical thinker with strong financial modeling experience; ability to develop business case analyses for purposes such as market sizing, launch of a new offering, and P&L impact of various business scenarios
  • Executive presence and ability to interface with external clients and partners
  • Ability to credibly and compellingly present complex problems and debate recommendations with senior leadership
  • Independently capable of seeking information, solving conceptual problems, corralling resources, and delivering results in challenging situations
  • Excel wizard, proficiency with Salesforce and data visualization tools preferred
  • A team player who works collaboratively and effectively across a diverse set of functions, backgrounds, and working styles
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully project manage complex initiatives from ideation through to completion, delivering high-quality work on tight deadlines
  • Non-hierarchical, with a willingness to roll-up your sleeves, multitask and dive into details
  • A lack of ego, driven by group outcome, not the individual outcome
