We are looking to add a Senior Manager, Business Systems to our team to drive our business systems roadmap and lead relevant team members. This person will be deeply involved with how we set up our business systems infrastructure to handle order to cash operations.

Job expectations:

  • Lead and manage the team responsible for business systems at the company.
  • Own overall business system architecture and initiatives to improve our business systems.
  • Define key strategic priorities for business systems and develop a roadmap.
  • Manage business software product lifecycle.
  • Act as the hiring manager for business system roles.
  • Work with departments across the organization to identify how to automate and improve their processes with business software solutions.
  • Communicate with leaders at the company about business system priorities, goals, and constraints.
  • Proactively plan for business system outages and security issues and troubleshoot when those issues arise.
  • Push active business systems projects along by identifying key issues for discussion, resolving disputes, drafting plans, et cetera.
  • Develop workflows to reduce turnaround time of order to cash across different teams.
  • Office suite software support.


  • At least 5 years of experience managing and scaling business system platforms like ERPs, CRMs, etc.
  • Experience making administrative changes to Salesforce.
  • At least 2 years of experience directly managing and hiring individual contributors who work on business systems or software.
  • Track record of business system improvement projects taken from idea to successful roll-out.
  • Ability to scope and create new workflows to address business operation bottlenecks.
  • Strong communication skills, especially when communicating about software to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to distill vague requests or problems into concrete deliverables with expected timelines.
  • Experience managing relationships with software vendors.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and support business suite software such as conferencing software, network drive permissions, etcetera.
  • Commitment to work out of our Emeryville, CA office at least 4 days per week.

Preferred but not required:

  • Experience managing or adding new functionality to Hubspot, Fishbowl, and Atlassian products (Jira/Confluence).
  • Experience working directly with manufacturing, finance, and commercial teams.
  • Experience with order to cash process improvement.
  • Understanding of end to end sales infrastructure.
  • Technical knowledge around business software platforms.
Our salary ranges are calculated by role and level. Your position within that range will be determined by your job-related knowledge, skills, experience, relevant education, and training/certifications. In addition to those factors, we also examine internal equity as well as consider current market rate, and title may be assessed one level lower or higher accordingly. After you join the company your performance, contributions, and results along with business and organizational needs will affect your base salary. The base salary range for this full-time position is between $135,000 – $150,000 + equity + benefits.
