Your role 

The Cyber Resilience Engineer is an important individual contributor to the cyber security risk and resilience team, focused on building, implementing, testing, and maintaining a new Cyber Resilience Program for the Mindbody organization. In this role, you will support management in designing, building, and maturing a cyber resilience program that ensures recoverability and survivability of significant cyber events within our suite of SaaS products. 

You’ll likely spend time working on 

  • Design, develop, maintain, and mature the cyber resilience program for cloud-based systems. 
  • Recommend best practices for ensuring cyber resiliency within Cloud Solutions 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish recovery time objectives (RTO) and recovery point objectives (RPO) for critical systems. 
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and business impact analysis to identify potential points of failure and critical systems across the technology landscape. 
  • Develop and implement mitigation strategies to minimize the impact of potential breaches or disruptions such as ransomware. 
  • Plan, coordinate and execute both tabletop and failover testing exercises to validate the effectiveness of the recovery designs. 
  • Establish, maintain, and mature the overall plans for executing all cyber resilience procedures and understand their interdependencies. 

About the right team member 

  • CBRM (Certified Business Resilience Manager) or CBRITP (Certified Business Resilience IT Professional) preferred and PMP certification is desired 
  • Must be a leader and enjoy driving toward results 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to convey plans, exercises, and activities with technical, non-technical, and management staff. 
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts along with practical knowledge using cloud-based disaster recovery tools and services 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure 
  • Strong collaboration skills 

You’ll thrive in this role with experience in 

  • Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience implementing cloud-based, end to end disaster recovery solutions at a technology-driven company 
  • Deep knowledge of current resiliency solutions, breach mitigation, and backup strategy design 
  • Building, managing and maintaining technical resilience programs 
  • Working knowledge of industry “best practice” frameworks including DRII, COBIT, NIST, ITIL, and ISO22301 
  • Ransomware recovery and architecture of cloud environments 
  • Developing / testing recovering strategies for cloud (SaaS) based applications 

Technologies you’ll be working with 

  • AuditBoard , a dedicated Governance, Risk and Compliance tool 
  • AWS cloud 
  • General coding languages used for data correlation such as Excel, Python, SQL, GitHub, and/or R 
  • Microsoft tools such as Powerpoint, Visio, and Word

Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. 

The base salary range for this position in the United States is $106,100 to $159,100. The total compensation package for this position may also include performance bonus, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
