Assistant Merch Planner

The Assistant Merch Planner will support the Planning team in the execution of Pre-season and in-season planning and reporting.  

Please note this is a hybrid role partially based in our New York City office. All candidates must be local or willing to relocate. You must also be authorized to work in the United States. 


Responsible For:

  • Building and maintaining relationships with relevant stakeholders, including Merchandising  
  • Support Merchandise Planner in executing and monitoring preseason sales planning, margin and inventory turn plans for selected area of business for the North American business 
  • Support Planning Team with preparation of Open to Buy meeting – including data verification, Power Point execution, and distribution of reports 
  • Assist in the execution of category level hindsight reports for Accessories 
  • Support in forecasting of key item through sales plans, receipt flow and intake phasing 
  • Update and maintain NAM Planning Team data reporting on a weekly and monthly basis 
  • Flex between Women’s, Men’s, and Accessories’ planning teams depending on team workload and needs  
  • Support ad-hoc requests from head of/director of planning  

Accountable For: 

  • Assisting Planner with weekly business analysis and reporting 
  • Supporting Planner in OTB forecasting on a monthly basis 
  • Supporting Planner in pre season planning execution 
  • Delivering defined reports for strategic business initiatives or internal requests as needed 


Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Ability to communicate relevant information to business partners 
  • Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office Suite 
  • Flexible and adaptable mindset 
  • Willingness to learn and grow in this role 
  • Strong time management 
  • Attention to detail is A MUST

This role has a salary range between $63,000-$73,000. The base pay offered is based on market, experience, and skills. 

Part of our compensation package includes a discretionary annual company performance bonus.
