The Opportunity

As a Product Manager, In-App Membership Growth you will help us drive growth of our subscription product Hatch+ within our mobile app. You will bring your creative energy to help us tell the story of our subscription sleep service across our kid & adult product lines. This role reports to the Director of Product, Core Experience. 

  • Lead growth optimizations that will help drive in-app acquisition for our premium membership experience across our kid and adult product lines.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our subscription business and existing funnel. 
  • Work cross-functionally with designers, engineers, product marketers, our audio content team, and other PMs to grow our revenue. 
  • Have a big impact on a growing, evolving people-centered startup that truly helps people sleep better. 

This person must be based in the United States or Canada. Hatch is based out of California, so this role would be asked to be available during PST/PDT hours.

What You’ll Do

Within 3 Months:

  • Get to know our company strategies + products like the back of your hand. 
  • Build a solid understanding of our product experience and current subscription offering.
  • Establish close working relationships with stakeholders across engineering, product, design, marketing, web, and customer support. 
  • Understand the customer by partnering with our PMs, user research and design and joining/hosting continuous listening sessions. 
  • Get involved in every aspect of the product development process, working directly with designers and engineers to implement features

Within 6 Months:

  • Obsess over the performance of Hatch+, proactively managing key metrics and actively searching for new opportunities. 
  • Work with our web & marketing team to understand the holistic experience of how and when we drive people to our membership across web, app & other communication channels. 
  • Define success metrics for, measure, and evaluate the impact of product efforts.
  • Collaborate with other PMs to recommend new value we can create to serve our Hatch+ members. 

After 1 Year:

  • Partner with the Director of Product to drive the roadmap for in-app membership growth.
  • Develop a strong perspective on Hatch’s growth engine and how to think strategically about where product investments should be placed.
  • Propose meaningful new opportunities for future growth strategies.

What You’ll Bring

  • 2+ years of consumer growth product management experience with subscription-based mobile products.
  • Comfort in navigating ambiguity and thriving in a dynamic startup environment.
  • Proven track record of shipping features that drive business metrics.
  • Strong experimentation skills, including generating hypotheses, A/B testing, and analyzing results
  • Strong customer empathy.
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills.
