About us:

Grow Therapy is on a mission to serve as the trusted partner for therapists growing their practice, and patients accessing high-quality care. Powered by technology, we are a three-sided marketplace that empowers providers, augments insurance payors, and serves patients. Following the mass increase in depression and anxiety, the need for accessibility is more important than ever. To make our vision for mental healthcare a reality, we’re building a team of entrepreneurs and mission-driven go-getters. Since launching in February 2021, we’ve empowered over ten thousand therapists and hundreds of thousands of clients across the country and insurance landscape. We’ve raised over $100mm of funding from Transformation Capital, TCV, and SignalFire.

What You’ll Be Doing:

We are looking for a Legal Operations Manager to help build not only the Legal Operations function of Grow Therapy, but also our growing Legal Department.  As the first Legal Operations hire and the third Legal hire overall, this is an opportunity to shape and be involved in all facets of the Legal Department’s work.  This is a perfect opportunity for a hands-on contributor who thrives in high-velocity environments, demonstrates deep operational rigor, and is passionate about driving much-needed change in our mental health system.

  • Managing and executing cross-functional projects and workflows, including contract reviews, vendor risk management processes, and internal assessments
  • Tech-enabling Legal processes such as request workflows and managing and overseeing the implementation of new legal tech platforms
  • Tracking and helping develop data-driven Legal OKRs, using data to inform strategy
  • Preparing trainings, playbooks, webpages, and other resources for the Legal Department, company, and Board
  • Budgeting and projecting Legal Department needs, managing outside counsel spend
  • Planning and organizing meetings and other events, such as departmental offsites

Salary range: $122,000 – $170,000

You’ll Be a Good Fit If:

  • 5+ years of work experience in progressively responsible roles in high-performing ops organizations, including 3+ within a Legal Ops department
  • Experience in high-growth environments, with a knack for navigating ambiguity with high autonomy
  • Hands-on leader, excited to get into the weeds, and to think big picture
  • Excellent communication, listening, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong writing and editing skills, attention to detail
  • Background in Legal Operations, ideally with experience at a law firm or tech company
  • Experience in healthcare preferred but not required
