Posted 3.22.24

About us:

Grow Therapy is on a mission to serve as the trusted partner for therapists growing their practice, and patients accessing high-quality care. Powered by technology, we are a three-sided marketplace that empowers providers, augments insurance payors, and serves patients. Following the mass increase in depression and anxiety, the need for accessibility is more important than ever. To make our vision for mental healthcare a reality, we’re building a team of entrepreneurs and mission-driven go-getters. Since launching in February 2021, we’ve empowered over ten thousand therapists and hundreds of thousands of clients across the country and insurance landscape. We’ve raised over $100mm of funding from Transformation Capital, TCV, and SignalFire.

What You’ll Be Doing:

We’re looking for an experienced Operations Associate for our Insurance Operations team who is passionate about improving the landscape for mental healthcare. You will support our strategic partnerships with insurance companies and the development of data-informed insights to drive our business. You will also play an essential role in ensuring that our payor success, credentialing, data analytics and revenue cycle management teams have the appropriate infrastructure in place to grow our provider base, get our providers in-network with insurance companies, and obtain reimbursement for services to enable continued engagement and growth. You’ll thrive in this role if you love learning new software to enhance productivity, figuring out how to automate processes that are tedious and manual, and data storytelling. As you get to know our internal systems and processes better, you’ll have the opportunity to expand your impact into different areas of the business, and you’ll eventually become the go-to person for a myriad of responsibilities.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining strong partnerships with the insurance companies we work with as strategic partners, in ways such as reporting on patient experience and clinical metrics, as well as orchestrating recurring meetings. This will require great communication skills, passion for storytelling with data, and an eye for detail and organization in order to manage key components of our partnerships.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Support new payor partnerships to help drive growth for the organization, including new strategies to deepen our existing partnerships via new payment models. This work will directly impact our ability to expand access to care nationally!
  • Create seamless contract implementation processes in collaboration with the Contracting team with minimal oversight. You’ll be responsible for identifying problems that may arise in our processes and then working towards a solution.
  • Own and monitor metrics that track the health of our partnerships, including recurring reporting to external parties.
  • Collaborate closely with our Growth, Customer & Client Support, Technology, and other Insurance Operations teams to ensure stellar operational performance and service while we scale.

Salary range: $90k-$119k

You’ll Be a Good Fit If:

  • You’re a Problem Solver. You’re able to identify business challenges based on metrics and analyses, and you’re ready to recommend solutions to improve business processes.
  • You’re Mission-Driven. You’re here to change the world, and you’re always connecting your work back to the importance of the Grow Therapy mission.
  • You’re Agile. You thrive in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment, and you’re able to pivot as new priorities emerge.
  • You’re a Team Player. You’re collaborative by nature, relish in camaraderie and group wins, and are looked to by your colleagues as a steadfast partner and source of encouragement.
  • You’re a Passionate Storyteller. You’re good at transforming dashboards and other data insights into a compelling story for our external partners.
  • You have previous experience working at a health insurance company or provider in a strategic or operational role is a bonus, but we prioritize capability over experience and are excited to invest in your professional growth.

If you don’t meet every single requirement, but are still interested in the job, please apply. Nobody checks every box, and Grow believes the perfect candidate is more than just a resume.
