Wholesale Independent Sales Representative

Ten Thousand is looking for Independent Sales Representatives to join our rapidly growing Wholesale team. The Independent Sales Representatives will focus on developing and scaling Ten Thousand’s wholesale business through prospecting and onboarding new retail partners across the United States, and will also be responsible for maintaining and growing existing business through daily communication and working with team members to help support consumer-facing events throughout the year. Independent Sales Representatives will sell into specific geographical regions. 


  • Source, develop, and maintain relationships with wholesale accounts, identifying leading retail doors, gyms, and fitness studios in your territory
  • Lead account maintenance for territory accounts, including owning market appointments, managing pre-season and in-season orders, handling marketing requests, and being a champion of the Ten Thousand brand to retail partners
  • Review and analyze weekly selling reports, identifying in-season and future opportunities to drive sales performance.
  • Manage relevant industry-related trade shows in assigned territory, Ten Thousand events, sales meetings, and account in-store events
  • Conduct regular in-store visits and events, and assist with visual merchandising and inventory management. Complete road work as needed for existing and prospective accounts.
  • Work with the wholesale team to provide account feedback to help develop better business practices (planning, selling, managing product, communication, relationship building)
  • Proactively inform on competitive landscape and sales trends within accounts
  • Provide feedback on sales plans and sales strategies


  • 2+ years working as a Sales Representative, selling into activewear doors, lifestyle doors, and/or gyms/fitness studios 
  • Established account base within your territory already servicing active accounts
  • Membership of regional rep association in good standing.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person and through email.
  • Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
  • Goal-oriented and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Has a valid US driver’s license.
  • Independent, entrepreneurial, passionate self-starter with a focus on the delivery of excellence, a GSD attitude, and a sense of urgency.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Humility and eagerness to learn and grow.
