The Role 

Based out of our Heath, OH facility, this person will act as the right hand to our Site Director, closely managing a broad scope of projects and operational changes to drive factory improvement and operational excellence. The Continuous Improvement Manager will be dynamic, fast thinking, and highly driven, getting things done with or without direction. This person must have a strong background of cross-functional project management with the operations, quality, and maintenance departments.

What you will accomplish: 

  • Champion the manufacturing department’s delivery on safety, quality, delivery and cost.
  • Use Lean tools to analyze and evaluate current production methods.
  • Gather metric data and interrupt production run results.
  • Develop and execute improved production processes.
  • Identify and ensure completion of cost reduction project.
  • Ensure product specifications and quality control measures are met.
  • Increase speed and efficiency of processes while also improving safety.
  • Develop, implement, maintain and improve quality control measures.
  • Help train and educate employees on proper techniques on how to properly run equipment.
  • Diagnose root cause of breakdowns, including human error, and troubleshoot problems.
  • Develop and execute corrective actions to reduce breakdowns.

What we would like you to have:

  • At least 15 years of experience in manufacturing.
  • At least 5 years in a project management or capital improvement coordinator role.
  • Strong technical background, preferably with tertiary education in an engineering field.
  • Strong understanding of food processing and packaging equipment.
  • Strong disciplined project management approach that drives execution across teams.
  • Confident leadership skills, that can provide direction and ensure quick collaborative decision making.
