We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst specializing in Financial and Accounting systems to join our Business Technology Solutions team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of financial processes, coupled with strong technical acumen, to support and enhance our existing systems while contributing to the implementation of new systems and processes. As a vital member of our organization, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather detailed requirements, analyze workflows, and recommend innovative solutions to support and optimize our business operations.


  • Leverage in-depth knowledge and experience in Financial and Accounting systems to analyze, troubleshoot, and enhance existing systems.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in ERP systems and their integration with Financial and Accounting modules to streamline processes and improve data accuracy.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather comprehensive process and technical requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory standards.
  • Identify opportunities for system improvements and efficiency gains, proposing and implementing innovative solutions to address business needs.
  • Participate in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new systems and technologies, providing expertise in system configuration and customization.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of business workflows to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for automation or optimization.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation including functional specifications, process flows, and technical diagrams to facilitate effective communication and knowledge transfer.
  • with internal teams including Finance, Accounting, Costing, and non-Accounting business units to ensure seamless integration of systems and alignment of business processes.
  • Develop test plans, conduct system testing, and coordinate user acceptance testing to validate system enhancements and implementations.
  • Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring smooth transition and adoption of new systems and processes.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
  • At least 6 years of professional experience as a Business Systems Analyst with a focus on Financial and Accounting systems.
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to gather and document detailed requirements for system enhancements and new implementations.
  • Experience in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI or similar database query tools.

The base salary range for this position is $100,000-$160,000 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
