Role Overview
As the Director of Sales & Business Development, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving our top-line growth. You’ll lead a dynamic team focused on inbound sales, while also strategically incorporating elements of business development and partnership opportunities. You’ll be responsible for developing and executing a winning sales strategy, fostering a high-performing sales culture, and exceeding ambitious revenue targets.
Responsibilities
  • Sales Leadership: Build, coach, and mentor a high-performing team of SMB Sales Representatives
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a data-driven sales strategy focused on inbound lead generation, conversion, and customer acquisition
  • Sales Operations: Establish and maintain efficient sales processes and workflows to optimize performance
  • Metrics & Analysis: Set clear goals, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and analyze data to identify areas for improvement
  • Business Development & Partnerships: Explore and establish strategic partnerships to expand reach and drive new customer acquisition
  • Forecasting & Revenue Growth: Develop accurate sales forecasts and consistently exceed ambitious revenue targets
  • Customer Focus: Ensure a positive customer experience throughout the sales cycle, fostering long-term relationships
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in B2B sales leadership, preferably within the SMB space
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and achieving ambitious revenue targets
  • Strong understanding of various sales methodologies and best practices
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and motivate a sales team to achieve peak performance
  • Experience building and scaling sales teams from the ground up (a plus)
  • Experience with sales forecasting and pipeline management
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage data for strategic decision making
  • Passion for building strong customer relationships
