About the role and about You:

We’re on the lookout for Associate Creator, Social Media to produce engaging content for Zwift’s brand channels. With the guidance and support of senior team members, you will conceptualize and create social content in response to brief documents that support broader campaigns. While you may brief our creative team to produce content, you also possess the ability to create social content on the fly, and in response to trends on your own with a phone. You live and breathe social and innately understand the power it has in engaging audiences to build the brand. You’re a self-starter, with a record of working collaboratively, quickly, and with minimal oversight. Your dedication and sound judgment shine through as you consistently surprise and delight the Zwift community.

What you’ll do: 

  • Utilizes knowledge of social trends and best practices, as well as good conceptual skills, to lead the development, creation, and production of culturally resonant social media content for the Zwift brand among its target audience, including standalone and campaign-affiliated projects.
  • Work with Creative teams as well as Marketing and Product partners to ensure feasibility of concepts to deliver culturally relevant content that drives awareness and engagement.
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends and industry best practices to ensure content remains relevant and optimized for maximum reach and engagement, including general content marketing trends and creative approaches.
  • Shoot and edit both video and stills for various social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and emerging platforms.
  • Write creator briefs, provide direction, and collaborate with influencers, photographers, videographers, designers, and other content creators as needed to enhance the creative process.
  • Foster meaningful interactions with the Zwift community and stoke engagement by responding to comments and inquiries in a timely and professional manner and referring any customer complaints to our dedicated customer service team.
  • Use social analytics tools like Sprout Social to report on content performance and inform strategic decision-making.

What we’re looking for: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, New Media, or equivalent experience with strong Social Media knowledge.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a social media role on an in-house marketing or creative team, or as an independent creator.
  • Ability to script, shoot, and edit video, both on the phone and using Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Lightroom).
  • Knowledge of, and sensitivity to, current trends in marketing, culture, video and photography, and their application to the athletic industry.
  • A love of brands and social media: a good eye for social creative and a natural curiosity for emerging trends and market insights.
  • A passion for sports and fitness (including cycling!). 

Bonus points: 

  • Specific knowledge of cycling and triathlon
  • Customer service experience a plus
