We are seeking an experienced Commercial Sales Leader to lead our institutional sales efforts, targeting hotels, gyms, national fitness chains, and residential apartment buildings.  You will be working as the key point of contact for major commercial clients both new and existing. Additionally, you will be managing commercial sales representatives to ensure they are meeting expectations set by Hydrow and expected from commercial clients. A daily expectation is that the commercial sales lead will be reaching out to clients in an effort to acquire new partnerships and maintain existing relationships in a professional and timely manner.  You will work closely with other functional teams within Hydrow and are expected to set and execute a commercial sales strategy that will ensure the continued success of our growing commercial sales department. 
This job is essential to ensure commercial customers receive the best service, understand Hydrow and our products, and want to purchase our offerings. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales and a passion for fitness and wellness. 
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy tailored to commercial clients that increases brand awareness,  generates significant lead volume, and drives unit sales. 
  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and pursue potential institutional clients that align with Hydrow’s brand and product offerings.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in the target sectors, ensuring Hydrow remains top-of-mind for fitness solutions.
  • Sales Presentations & Demos: Showcase the unique benefits of the Hydrow rower, tailoring presentations to address specific needs of each potential client.
  • Contract Negotiation: Work closely with the legal team to finalize sales contracts, ensuring favorable terms for both parties.
  • Collaborate: Work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer support teams to ensure seamless client integration and post-sales support.
  • Stay Updated: Proactively monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and client feedback to inform sales strategies and product recommendations.
  • Meet Sales Targets: Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets and KPIs set by senior management.
  • Communication to Internal Stakeholders: Prepare presentations regarding commercial initiatives, progress, and upcoming opportunities to C-Suite Executives and Board Members.  
  • Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor commercial sales team, preparing them to effectively sell and maintain key commercial accounts promptly with professionalism and integrity.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the fitness, wellness, or hospitality sectors.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Strong network within the hotel, gym, and residential apartment sectors.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Positive, energetic, and collaborative. Consider yourself an exceptional servant leader.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools such as Salesforce, Netsuite, or HubSpot.
