The Task at Hand: The Business Planning Manager reports directly to the Vice President of Business Development and serves as a key member of the team by providing business planning and reporting support for the sales team and broader organization. This role is primarily responsible for the support of the translation of a sales forecast into an actionable demand plan. This position will work closely with both the field sales team (helping analyze and refine their forecasts) and headquarters functions (primarily operations) to ensure Once Upon A Farm is making the right amount of product at the right time. This role will also lead our ongoing daily and monthly revenue reporting, ensuring the organization is tracking against our expectations and objectives. 
In This Role, You Will: 
•         Lead the translation of sales forecast into a production plan and owned the monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) forecasting process, which includes: 
o         Driving accountability through tracking and reporting forecast accuracy 
o         Evaluate forecasts against historical customer ordering and consumption trends 
o         Own the “risk and opportunity” process to help build high confidence to stretch demand forecast for sourcing to work against 
•         Building and publishing daily/monthly shipment tracking and reporting against expectations and objectives. Provide leadership with a summary/explanation of the results 
•         Supporting the Business Team in the annual business planning process 
•         Becoming subject matter expert and sales expert on business reporting systems 
In This Role, You’ll Bring With You:  
•         A minimum of two years of foundational analytics experience, ideally in the consumer packaged goods space 
•         Professional experience in forecasting and planning 
•         Preferably located in the San Francisco Bay Area, CA
•         Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Outlook, Slack, and other professional platforms 
•         Demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguity and a desire to build and improve on business processes 
•         Up to 15% travel required: Although this role is a remote work-from-home position, we “Farmers” do meet as a company and/or as a department a few times a year. Anticipate possible travel up to a few times each quarter 
•         Genuinely passionate about improving childhood nutrition for a healthier and happier planet 
•         Desire to contribute to a dynamic high-growth, purpose-driven work environment 
•         Previous exposure to cross-functional work between Sustainability and Sales preferred 
•         Must reside in the United States to be considered for this position

•         Full Time, Salaried, Exempt 
•         The anticipated salary range for this position is $80,000.00 – $95,000.00. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a few factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses, stipends, equity, and role-specific perks.
