Position Overview: Growth Marketing Manager
We’re a team of trailblazing designers and engineers from the robotics space (Willow Garage, Savioke) and consumer-tech (Apple), united by a passion for crafting delightful products that resonate with users on an emotional level. As we prepare for our product launch this year, we’re searching for a dynamic and experienced Growth Marketing Manager to architect our pre-launch and launch campaigns.
You’ll be a key driver of our marketing strategies, developing the roadmap to reach potential customers, inspire them, and foster ongoing engagement. In the first 3 months, you’ll partner closely with the founding team to create an exceptional customer journey, from initial digital touchpoints to post-launch communication. A crucial piece of this role is spearheading our influencer marketing efforts, ensuring we cultivate strong partnerships that build credibility, expand our reach, and drive meaningful growth.
What You’ll Do
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Refine target personas through market research.
- Own the go-to-market strategy for both pre-launch and launch phases.
- Devise strategies to build a high-intent pre-crowdfunding audience.
Influencer & Partnership Marketing
- Identify, negotiate, and manage high-impact collaborations with influencers and brand ambassadors who align with our mission and values.
- Develop a holistic influencer strategy, from discovery and onboarding to content creation and performance tracking.
- Collaborate with influencers to create authentic narratives around better sleep, well-being, and the Dreamie platform.
Campaign Management
- Oversee the creation of a high-converting pre-launch landing page.
- Develop and optimize first-party email marketing campaigns.
- Craft a robust content calendar for social channels, tailoring messages for specific audiences.
Performance Monitoring & Optimization
- Track KPIs (e.g., pre-launch sign-ups, influencer-driven conversions, social engagement) and share updates.
- Gather feedback from early adopters to refine marketing strategies.
- Continuously optimize campaigns using data-driven insights to maximize ROI.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with product, design, and engineering teams to ensure all marketing efforts align with product goals.
- Oversee marketing budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources for maximum impact.
PR & Media Relations
- Build and execute a comprehensive PR plan to secure relevant press coverage and third-party endorsements.
- Work with influencers, journalists, and thought leaders to strengthen brand credibility.
Key Qualifications:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in growth marketing (health and wellness hardware or consumer electronics background preferred).
- Startup experience is strongly preferred, someone who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Influencer Marketing Expertise
- Proven success building and managing influencer campaigns that drive brand growth and conversion.
- Ability to foster authentic relationships with influencers, ambassadors, and strategic partners.
Track Record in Launches
- Clear experience leading user acquisition and growth during pre-launch and launch phases.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort with data-driven decision-making.
Communication & Project Management
- Skilled at juggling multiple projects, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines.
- Able to craft compelling brand narratives and cohesive marketing funnels.
Technical & Platform Skills
- Proficient in tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot, Mailchimp, and various social media management platforms.
- Experience with all major social channels (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and X).
- Familiarity with PR strategies and influencer marketing frameworks.
