As we expand our global presence, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Business Operations to help drive our hardware operations.

About Role

Centr is seeking an experienced and strategic eCommerce Global Sales Director with 7+ years of experience to play a pivotal role in growing our eCommerce capabilities within our global direct sales function.

Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will lead initiatives to boost sales by optimizing our Centr Shopify site and identifying new regions to expand our e-commerce footprint.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in developing a global eCommerce strategy, managing the yearly P&L with quarterly forecast updates, and overseeing all strategy, creative direction, timing and execution of eCommerce related activities including digital marketing, digital shelf product presentation, promotional planning, product launches, and more. Key Duties & Responsibilities

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and execute global e-commerce sales strategy with a strong emphasis on maximizing our DTC channel (eg. shop.centr.com).
  • Stay up to date with ecommerce best practices, industry trends, and local policy changes for each market and work together with legal rep to ensure compliance and optimize sales performance.

Forecasting and P&L Management:

  • Oversee the eCommerce P&L for Centr DTC.
  • Manage quarterly forecasts ensuring accurate demand planning and inventory management across DTC.

Reporting and Analytics:

  • Utilize analytics tools to gather insights into product performance, customer behavior, and market trends.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, conversion rates, customer review, and search ranking to identify opportunities for improvement by working together with global CS and and media teams.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate performance metrics, sales trends and actionable insights to management.

Marketing Coordination:

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations to ensure alignment across business and support for ecommerce.
  • Manage relationships with e-commerce partners / distributors as well as agency partners per market to ensure the right parameters are in place to drive growth and improve operational efficiency.

Product Data Management:

  • Manage and coordinate product listings, including product descriptions, images, pricing and inventory availability across multiple marketplaces.

Content Strategy:

  • Develop and execute content strategies to enhance the online shopping experience, driving engagement and conversion.
  • Coordinate with creative teams for the development of compelling product visuals and descriptions.

Pricing Strategy:

  • Drive promotional plans, coordinate product launches and communication pricing strategies across all markets for DTC.
  • Regularly evaluate and adjust pricing based on performance and market dynamics.

Inventory Management:

  • Work closely with the operations team to optimize inventory levels, minimizing stockouts and overstocks.
  • Implement efficient reorder processes to meet customer demand.

Required Experience & Knowledge

  • eCommerce Sales Experience: 7+ years of experience in eCommerce sales, ideally on DTC platforms.
  • Site Merchandise Experience: Strong track record of managing an eCommerce platform and driving sales growth; Shopify experience being a significant advantage.
  • Forecasting and Analytics: Strong proficiency in demand forecasting, P&L management, and using analytics tools to derive actionable insights.
  • Product Data Management: Experience in managing and optimizing product data on eCommerce platforms.
  • Marketing Coordination: Collaborative experience with marketing teams to coordinate sales and promotional strategies. Creative thinking skills to support dynamic product merchandising on our ecom platforms.
  • Inventory Optimization: Demonstrated success in managing inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess stock.
