What You Will Do

Are you a social media maven with a knack for staying ahead of trends and a passion for daring innovation? Chomps, the trailblazer in real ingredient, protein-packed snacks, is on the hunt for a social media rockstar to ignite our community growth and content.  

As our Social Media Manager, you’ll be the architect of our social strategy, leading the charge in harnessing the power of digital platforms to amplify Chomps’ voice and cultivate a tribe of brand enthusiasts. You’ll unleash your creativity and strategic prowess in crafting campaigns that captivate, engage, and inspire action, identifying and nurturing external creators and forging partnerships that propel our brand into new territories.  

You’ll be armed with a deep marketing toolkit and the autonomy to push boundaries, all while collaborating closely with a team of visionaries who share your passion for disruption. Reporting directly to the Senior Brand Director, you’ll be the linchpin of our social media strategy, spearheading initiatives that redefine what’s possible.   • Lead the owned social marketing vision, staying ahead of the ever-changing landscape to drive growth and consumer interest. 
  • Partner closely with larger Brand/Ecommerce team and partners including PR, Influencer, and Creative teams to ensure social campaigns are pillar of all 360 marketing planning.  
  • Oversee the social calendar and day-to-day social execution/consumer engagement across all platforms, managing external community manager agency 
  • Track and report on measurable metrics as it relates to overall brand health, utilizing a test & learn approach into social content.  
  • Research, identify and brief content, in partnership with paid creators and in-house creative team, to build and engage our audience and nurture a highly interactive brand following across all platforms. 
  • Manage creation of brand copy through support of copywriter, tailoring copy to our unique platforms and target audience.
  • Manage Social Media program budget including Creators, Tools & Technology, Third Party Partners, Sweeps and Swag.
  • New Responsibilities: Adapt to shifting organizational priorities by taking ownership of new duties and regularly owning a roll-up-your-sleeves mindset. 

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of experience in Social Media Marketing or related field, with demonstrated success in building social community and engagement for high growth brand 
  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • Results oriented with a test & learn mentality. Highly analytical and data-driven 
  • Mastery of priority social platforms and measurement tools (e.g. Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Linkedin, Twitter, and SproutSocial) and turning insights into actions 
  • Outstanding communication (both verbal and written) and relationship management skills 
  • External partner and agency management experience including platform content creators and community/customer service managers 
  • Experience collaborating cross functionally with creative, ecommerce and sales teams 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail

Salary Range Opportunity:

  • The salary range for this role is $110,000 – $115,000 + 20% annual bonus

Compensation Philosophy & Total Comp:

  • Our salary ranges are based on verified market data and our philosophy of paying competitively for our size and industry
  • Individual pay rate decisions are based on several factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company
  • In addition to base salary, full-time team members receive medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401K 6% match, and monthly reimbursements for wellness and home office.
