The ASICS Digital Consumer Insights team is seeking an enthusiastic and curious individual with an interest in consumer behavior and market research.  
A little bit about us:  
ASICS Digital is a division of ASICS based in Boston, Massachusetts. Our goal is to build innovative digital technologies to better connect the ASICS brand to its consumers. We are responsible for the continued development of fitness solutions such as ASICS Runkeeper and ASICS Studio, global Ecommerce platforms, and other digital services that inspire people to move, get fit and stay healthy.

Job Duties:
  • Collaborate with team mates to develop and execute various types of research projects (e.g., surveys, quantitative analysis, interviews, focus groups, online qualitative methods, ethnographies, etc.) 
  • Manage, oversee, and execute on the learning agenda for our communities of ASICS consumers 
  • Support the category teams to explore how our products resonate with our consumers and what we can change to increase appeal of our brand 
  • Analyze social media data, product reviews, primary and secondary market research toidentifykey trends, and analyzing what pieces of information will help our marketing and product teams generate more insightful briefs and campaigns  
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders across regions and functions to get answers to some of their burning questions about our consumers. 
  • Collaborate with and utilize existing and new suppliers of market research consulting, tools, and platforms 
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred fields of study include:psychology, business, marketing, mathematics, market research, economics, or quantitative research-related fields required. 
  • Ability to collect, query, analyze different data sources (e.g., survey, interview videos, sales, social media, product reviews), understanding of physiological data is a plus, familiarity with Circana (NPD), MetrixLab, Statista, etc. 
  • General understanding and knowledge in footwear and apparel product research, retail industry, campaign effectiveness is a plus. 
  • Working knowledge of using SQL or Python to pull and integrate customer data with research data to develop comprehensive reporting on our target consumers is a strong plus 
  • Experience moderating user interviews with consumers online 
  • Demonstrated experience directly interacting and communicating with retail customers, runners, etc. 
  • Proven experience using Microsoft Office Suite and managing multiple priorities at the same time. 
  • Collaborative, entrepreneurial, energetic, and adaptable. 
  • Demonstrated leadership skills through academic, career, and/or extracurricular activities  
  • Excellent quantitative, analytical, and communication skills with experience presenting and/or speaking to an audience 
  • Experience in retail runner and fitness apparel space is a plus 
  • Boston, MA is the preferred location for this hybrid position.
