About the Role
We are hiring for a high-impact, full-time role as an Exercise Physiologist to play a pivotal role in our Early Medical team. The position will also support testing for patients on our 10 Squared team, with the support of the 10 Squared Member Experience Coordinator. This is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to cutting-edge performance and clinical testing while ensuring absolute precision in data management.
You will work closely with the Early Medical Exercise Specialist team and 10 Squared Coaching team to conduct gold-standard physiological assessments and manage critical patient data, as well as support exercise reporting. You will be responsible for the end-to-end administration of cardiopulmonary and metabolic testing, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of results that directly impact patient care and performance optimization.
This role is an incredible opportunity for someone who is committed to excellence, thrives in a high-rigor, high-precision environment, and is passionate about bridging the gap between clinical health and peak human performance.
This role is onsite, working at our 10 Squared facility in Austin, TX.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct cutting-edge sports and clinical testing for patients: CPET/VO2Max and Lactate Threshold (DEXA as needed)
- Master our standard operating procedures to ensure a seamless, repeatable, and engaging assessment experience
- Input and manage patient data with absolute precision, ensuring test results are accurate, well-organized, and easily accessible
- Work closely with medical and performance teams to create a holistic understanding of each patient’s health and performance
- Stay ahead of the curve—research new testing methodologies and refine our protocols based on the latest evidence
- Make every test session motivating, insightful, and unforgettable—leaving patients eager to return for future reassessments, even from the starting point of booking the first appointment.
What We’re Looking For
We’re searching for a passionate and highly skilled professional to join our team—someone who has thrived in a dynamic outpatient or cardiac rehab setting and is committed to delivering excellence in patient care. If you have a deep understanding of exercise science and a drive to help others regain their strength, we want to hear from you!
Experience Matters: You should have at least two years of hands-on, cardio-pulmonary exercise testing experience in a Cardiac Rehab or Outpatient Facility—we need someone who understands the rhythm (literally) of this fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
Education That Sets You Apart: A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Physiology, or Kinesiology is required, but if you’ve taken your education further with an advanced degree, that’s even better.
We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just meet the requirements but exceeds expectations—someone who is as dedicated to professional excellence as they are to patient success. If this sounds like you, let’s connect.
