Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and mission-obsessed Head of Editorial to join our team. In this unique, high-impact role, you will have the opportunity to shape the voice of our cutting-edge brand, ensuring our content stands out, inspires trust, and empowers people to take control of their health.
Responsibilities
- Content Strategy: Oversee and develop a content strategy that supports our brand, balances clinical rigor with compelling storytelling, and ultimately engages readers.
- Content Creation: Create engaging and educational content, such as blog posts and newsletters to help patients understand the science of longevity.
- Editing & Quality Control: Review, edit, and optimize customer-facing and internal clinical documentation written by our team to ensure clarity, consistency, and factual accuracy.
- Conversion-Focused Writing: Optimize content for engagement and conversion—whether it’s driving newsletter sign-ups, customer retention, or membership interest.
- Research & Awareness: Conduct rigorous analysis of research papers in the field of longevity science, translating complex scientific findings into easy-to-understand articles for our patient community.
Requirements
- Are obsessed with clarity and can turn complex clinical topics into compelling, reader-friendly content.
- Have a strong editorial background—ideally in health, medical, or science-focused content.
- Love writing that drives action—you know how to write (or edit) content that informs, persuades, and convert.
- Have a strong grasp of clinical accuracy—whether you’re a PhD, clinician, or simply have a strong interest in the field.
- Have experience scaling content teams or managing freelancers, contractors, and subject-matter experts.
- Stay up-to-date on health trends and understand what kind of content breaks through the noise in the wellness and longevity space.
- Are deeply interested in your own health—you don’t just edit medical content, it’s a reflection of your deep interests.
- Have a growth mindset, embracing challenges, learning from feedback, and continuously striving for improvement in a fast-paced, evolving field.
