Job Description
The Head of Customer Acquisition (Growth Marketing) will be responsible for driving customer acquisition strategies and managing a multi-million dollar budget allocated for paid media campaigns. This role requires a creative and strategic thinker who is experienced in leading successful direct-response acquisition strategies across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Google, Influencer Platforms, Podcast, Affiliate, Streaming Video and other emerging channels. The ideal candidate will possess an entrepreneurial mindset, a strong business acumen, and a proven track record of delivering exceptional results in customer acquisition.
Responsibilities
- Paid Media Strategy:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive paid media strategy to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth.
- Identify target audience segments and design tailored campaigns to maximize ROI.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize campaign performance based on key metrics and market trends.
- Budget Management:
- Manage a multi-million yearly budget allocated for direct-response paid media campaigns effectively and efficiently.
- Conduct thorough analysis to allocate budget across platforms, channels, and campaigns for optimal results.
- Campaign Execution:
- Plan, execute, and monitor paid media campaigns across multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Google, Podcast, Affiliate).
- Collaborate with internal and external teams, including marketing leadership, brand, design, and analytics, to align campaign objectives and messaging.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Utilize data analytics tools to gather insights, track campaign performance, and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.
- Generate regular reports to measure the effectiveness of paid media campaigns and present findings to key stakeholders.Continuously stay updated with industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and strategies.
- Ad strategy:
- Develop compelling ad campaigns that resonate with our target audience, drive engagement, and deliver impactful results.
- Identify customer insights and translate them into effective ad strategies that cut through the noise and capture attention.
- Ensure that all content aligns with our brand voice, values, and marketing objectives.
- Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Build, lead and inspire a team of paid media specialists, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to align customer acquisition strategies with overall business objectives.
Requirements
- Proven experience (5-10 years) in managing customer acquisition campaigns across paid media platforms for a successful CPG brand
- Strong understanding of digital marketing trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Demonstrated experience in budget management, financial analysis, and performance tracking.
- Keen understanding of storytelling, visual aesthetics, and the ability to craft persuasive and captivating messaging
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to think creatively and strategically and can navigate the fast-paced, ever-changing landscape of customer acquisition in a start-up environment
- Exceptional analytical skills and proficiency in data-driven decision making.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of motivating and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex ideas and strategies to stakeholders.

- This position is located in NYC. Must be willing to work in office on a hybrid schedule.
