What You’ll Do: 

  • Assess the current marketing strategies, and create a sustainable strategy for KAYA to enhance its effort through various channels (e.g., digital marketing, earned media, organic marketing, B2B marketing)
  • Partner with the Business Development lead to amplify the gym partner onboarding experience with marketing strategies and resources
  • Partner with the Customer Experience lead to amplify grassroots guerrilla marketing strategies to align with company goals
  • Drive demand through an integrated marketing strategy, execution, and performance across content creation, communications, creative, and social
  • Lead the existing marketing team, customer support team, and agency relationships (social media, creative)
  • Drive the creation of end-to-end campaign plans across marketing channels including visuals, digital, content, social, and PR
  • Work closely with the Product team, acting as the voice of the customer, to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Establish campaign objectives and key marketing strategies
  • Create and manage marketing budgets, optimize spend across channels, and align marketing investment with short and long-term goals
  • Create an updated strategy on how to leverage the B2B sales team within the marketing funnel, and creating local marketing toolkits for B2B partners or empowering sales managers with our latest content and best practices
  • Build out growth capability and the team from the ground up: growing as a leader while KAYA grows as a company
  • Develop and execute a multi-year marketing plan to expand our presence outside of the United States (Europe, Asia)

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field
  • Minimum 6+ years professional experience in a data-oriented growth marketing role at a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment
  • Minimum 4+ years professional experience creating content and SEO led marketing programs
  • Minimum 2+ years professional experience leading or partnering closely to create partnerships, community and influencer marketing programs
  • Experience managing a team or marketers and multiple internal stakeholders
  • Familiarity with major ad platforms (Facebook Ads, Google Ads), social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube), marketing automation platforms (Klaviyo), and marketing analytics (website analytics, data analysis, BI tools)
  • Excellent organizational skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and an ability to influence stakeholders
  • Proven experience leveraging content, social media and partnerships to drive performance
  • Curiosity and desire to understand KAYA users (and future KAYA users) deeply and/or passion/experience in the climbing industry
