We are currently looking for a dedicated Account Manager, someone excited to join our Payor Team and to elevate our partnerships and further our value with clients. 

Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, you’ll be the driving force behind the accessibility and utilization of our services, immersing yourself in understanding the mental health and wellness needs of our clients to foster enduring partnerships.

What You’ll Do

Serving as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, the Account Manager will be responsible for cultivating and nurturing payor relationships. Your proactive approach will identify gaps of care and opportunities for upselling and cross-selling Talkspace services.

Through captivating presentations and product demonstrations, you will effectively convey the value of Talkspace offerings. You will also comprehensively manage the sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, working cross functionally to create tailored solutions that match clients’ objectives. 

As our next Account Manager, you’re someone who can guarantee a smooth transition from sales and implementation (proposals, contracts, and pricing agreements), all the way to utilization!

Sales Management

  • Develop and maintain relationships with assigned clients, understanding their mental health and wellness needs.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell Talkspace services to existing clients.
  • Deliver engaging presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the value of Talkspace offerings.
  • Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and pricing agreements in line with client requirements.
  • Monitor market trends and competitors to inform your sales strategies and approaches.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiations and closing deals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and act as a point of contact for client inquiries and requests.

Team Collaboration

  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions that align with clients’ objectives.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales materials and strategies that resonate with clients’ needs.

Performs other related duties as assigned.


About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
  • Proven track record of success in sales, account management, or a similar role.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills to effectively convey the value of Talkspace services.
  • Understanding of mental health and wellness industry trends and challenges is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools for pipeline management and reporting (we use Salesforce).

At Talkspace, we believe that pay transparency during the interview process is a critical part of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Our salary bands are based on internal and external compensation benchmarks, which we regularly evaluate to ensure we pay competitively.

The base salary range for this role is between $100,000 – $120,000. Within the salary bands, leveling corresponds to each candidate’s relevant experience, skills as assessed during the interview process, education, and applicable certifications.
