About the Role

The Commercial Strategy Analyst will play a critical role in streamlining the operational functions of the team’s go-to-market strategy. This person will not only be responsible for identifying improvements but will also refine our processes for tracking end-to-end contracting and partnership management. The responsibilities of this role will impact broader payor strategy and help drive our Commercial KPIs, many of which are top organizational priorities for leadership. This position will necessitate profound attention to detail and proactive cross-functional collaboration to deliver valuable insights to the organization. This person will be intellectually curious and eager to develop a deep understanding of payor workflows and stakeholder relationships at a fast-paced, mission-driven organization.

  • Source health plan stakeholders to build and develop payor relationships
  • Build and leverage in-depth knowledge of nuances in the insurance market and contract variability
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Growth Strategy, Legal, Compliance, RCM, etc.) to maintain health plan contracts
  • Conduct and consolidate research related to payor workstreams and novel markets
  • Streamline development of go-to-market team processes, workflows, and tools
  • Assist with scaling Commercial team initiatives over time to meet the needs of Charlie Health


  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience at a startup or similarly fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Healthcare experience is a plus
  • Analytical capability is a plus
  • Microsoft Office proficiency – Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, listening, and relationship-building skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Quick and eager learner
  • Strong organizational skills with diligent note-taking abilities
  • Proactive self-starter and natural multitasker
  • Resourceful with a natural ability to problem-solve
  • Able to work a hybrid schedule of 4 days/week in our NYC office and located within 75 minutes commuting distance of the office

Additional Information

The expected base pay for this role will be between $70,000 and $85,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay will be determined on an individualized basis and will be impacted by location and years of experience. Further, base pay is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Charlie Health-sponsored benefits. #LI-HYBRID
