About the Role

WHOOP is hiring a Social Media Strategy Specialist to support the development and execution of organic social strategy across platforms. This role is ideal for an emerging strategist who is excited to own assigned content workstreams, shape platform-native creative, and contribute to broader channel planning alongside senior team members.

Responsibilities:

    Content Strategy and Execution:

  • Contribute to organic social strategy across priority and supporting social platforms.
  • Own assigned content workstreams, helping bring campaigns, evergreen programming, and scalable content franchises to life.
  • Translate brand priorities and audience insights into actionable content plans and briefs.
  • Creative Briefing & Development:

  • Develop creative briefs for both evergreen and campaign content that help accomplish team, campaign, and company goals.
  • Contribute to brainstorms and campaign kickoffs with fresh, platform-native ideas.
  • Help build and document repeatable content formats for WHOOP-owned channels.
  • Performance & Insights:

  • Track and analyze evergreen and campaign content performance using analytics tools.
  • Extract actionable insights and apply learnings to future content.
  • Contribute to monthly reporting and strategic recommendations.
  • Trend & Cultural Intelligence:

  • Stay on top of social, performance, health, and wellness trends to surface timely, on-brand opportunities.
  • Share emerging platform updates, content formats, and storytelling opportunities with the team.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with Creative, Partnerships, Community, Sports & Talent, Product Marketing, Performance Science, Wholesale, and Accessories & Apparel teams to ensure social programming supports broader marketing goals.
Qualifications:
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in social media at a brand or agency.

  • Deep understanding of platforms, especially Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and X, and their best practices.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience with Sprinklr (or a similar tool)

  • Strong storytelling instincts and ability to adapt brand voice by platform.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Collaborative spirit.

  • Passion for performance, wellness, and innovation.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

  • Experience with creative tools (Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, etc.) a plus.
