The Role

We’re looking for a bold, high-performing VP, E-Commerce Sales to join our Sales Leadership Team. Reporting directly to the Chief Customer Officer, this leader will drive Honest’s e-commerce and omnichannel strategy across our digital retail footprint, with a core focus on Amazon, while scaling growth across key partners like Target, Walmart, Costco, Thrive, iHerb, and Instacart.

This role requires a strategic thinker who thrives in fast-paced environments where priorities shift quickly. You’re someone who operates with a high degree of autonomy, is energized by complexity, and is deeply collaborative. You know how to inspire cross-functional teams and your own organization, and you’re not afraid to dig into the details to ensure excellence in execution.

You’ll lead and develop a high-performing e-commerce team while partnering closely with marketing, supply chain, media agencies, and our sales leaders. You’ll also be a key contributor to raising our digital IQ across the organization—educating, influencing, and elevating Honest’s omnichannel execution company-wide.

What You’ll Do:

Strategic & Organizational Leadership

  • Partner with the Chief Customer Officer to shape and execute Honest’s omnichannel growth strategy.
  • Develop performance reporting and sales insights that inform decision-making and improve digital execution across the Sales organization.
  • Act as a thought partner to the Sales and Executive Leadership Teams on emerging trends, innovation, and digital expansion opportunities.
  • Elevate digital commerce fluency across the organization through education, coaching, and strategic influence.

E-Commerce Retailer Ownership

  • Lead and grow our digital retail business, with a primary focus on Amazon, while expanding growth across other pure play and omnichannel platforms.
  • Drive all aspects of 4P excellence: content, pricing, product availability, and promotional planning to maximize conversion and brand impact.
  • Develop and own long-range growth strategies for Amazon, aligned with customer expectations and Honest’s brand objectives.
  • Partner with media teams and agencies to deliver breakthrough programs that increase household penetration and digital share.
  • Lead volume forecasting, trade investment, demand planning, and supply alignment to ensure operational excellence.
  • Seek and evaluate new digital commerce opportunities that align with our growth strategy.

Omnichannel Enablement

  • Build scalable reporting and tools to measure execution across digital shelf fundamentals (search, content, availability, price, and share).
  • Anticipate and mitigate customer friction points across the omnichannel journey to ensure seamless consumer experiences.
  • Benchmark best-in-class retailers and identify innovation opportunities to keep Honest ahead of the curve.
  • Coach cross-functional and sales peers to elevate omnichannel capability and enable a shared understanding of what drives success.

What You’ll Need:

  • 15+ years of sales and/or marketing experience, including 7+ years in senior leadership roles managing Amazon and other digital retailers in CPG or fast-moving consumer goods.
  • Deep expertise in Amazon’s ecosystem, tools, media, operations, and long-term growth planning.
  • Experience leading, developing, and scaling high-performing teams.
  • Strategic agility paired with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and dive into the details.
  • Growth mindset with a passion for learning, teaching, and continuous improvement.
  • Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and prioritize high-impact initiatives.
  • Strong communication skills—able to flex between executive storytelling and operational detail.
  • Highly analytical with the ability to turn insights into action.
  • Trusted partner who builds strong relationships across internal teams and external partners.

Compensation

The pay range for this role is $202K – $250K. Actual compensation is based on many factors including but not limited to depth of experience, skill level, ability, knowledge, education, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.

The total rewards package for this position may also include base, annual incentive plan, benefits, retirement plan, equity, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
