Arketa is building the operating system for modern fitness and wellness. Our mission is to make wellness more accessible by empowering studios and wellness entrepreneurs to grow beyond in-person classes. We provide a powerful, all-in-one platform to manage and scale hybrid wellness businesses—whether online, in-person, or both.
With Arketa, users can easily manage schedules, accept bookings and payments, build on-demand video libraries, host retreats, and run marketing campaigns via text and email. We also offer fully branded apps and websites, so studios can deliver a seamless, professional experience across every customer touchpoint.
We’ve raised $6M in seed funding from First Round Capital and are growing quickly. It’s a unique moment to join us—we’re building a category-defining company in a fast-moving space, and we’re looking for teammates who are excited to help shape the future of wellness.
The Role:
We’re looking for a hands-on studio operator with deep experience running multi-location boutique fitness businesses to help us build the future of studio operations. This is not a coaching or consulting role — it’s a do-the-work mixed with a product manager.
You’ll serve as a fractional studio manager and marketer for a portfolio of Arketa’s customers. You’ll help them execute on the day-to-day tasks they don’t have time for: optimizing schedules, running campaigns, auditing pricing, managing client communications, and improving operational efficiency. Then, you’ll take what you learn and partner with our engineering team to shape tools and products that solve these problems at scale.
You’ll also own the relationship with these studios, from initial sales and scoping to delivery and renewal.
What You’ll Do:
-
Serve as a fractional studio operator and/or marketer for Arketa studios — logging into their accounts and executing tasks they’d typically hire a manager for.
-
Own the relationship: scope the engagement, close the deal, and manage client communication.
-
Execute studio operations work like class schedule optimization, internal studio SOPs, pricing audits, membership adjustments, staff management, customer service and more
-
Be a fractional marketer for the studio: Build and send campaigns, analyze performance, and iterate — using both Arketa tools and studio CRMs.
-
Identify repeatable patterns and partner and work with our engineering team to build better software that automates this work for our Arketa customers.
-
Deliver insights back to the team to build our newest products
What We’re Looking For:
-
4–5 years of experience operating or marketing for a boutique fitness business with 4+ locations
-
2+ years of experience leveraging technology to improve processes
-
A self-sufficient executor — you don’t need a team or hand-holding to get things done
-
You understand the details of studio life — managing schedules, membership nuances, campaign timelines, and team ops
-
You’ve run email campaigns, built automations, managed leads, and made pricing decisions — not in theory, but in practice
-
You’re technical enough to work directly with engineers and product managers to bring features to life
-
You’re excited to sell this service and represent Arketa in high-touch studio relationships
What We Offer:
-
Competitive Salary, Stock Options, and Performance-based Bonuses
-
Comprehensive Medical, Vision and Dental Insurance
-
Unlimited PTO
-
Annual Company Offsites
-
Wellness Reimbursement
-
Catered Lunches/Snacks
-
Ownership and Opportunity for Advancement
For this role, the estimated annual base salary range is $100,000–$140,000, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, we offer equity and performance-based bonuses as part of our total compensation package. We believe in compensating fairly and transparently, and we’re happy to provide more detail during the interview process.
Arketa is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to diversity in its workforce. We actively encourage applications from all qualified individuals regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law. We believe that a diverse and inclusive workplace fosters innovation and creativity, and we welcome candidates who share our values of respect, collaboration, and excellence.
