We are seeking a full-time Studio Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple Pilates studios in Chicago. You will start by managing our flagship location and immediately transition into overseeing additional studios as they launch.

This is a hands-on, sales- and operations-focused role: you’ll own daily lead calls, membership sales, and customer service, while also supervising instructors and staff to ensure every studio runs smoothly. Your focus will be on sales, marketing, retention, reporting, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Sales & Membership Growth
    • Make daily lead calls, conduct membership sales conversations, and track conversions.
    • Engage with current members to ensure high retention and referral activity.
    • Responsibility for scaling processes (standardizing sales scripts, customer service, staff training) across multiple locations.
    • Ensuring cross-studio alignment on pricing, offers, and client experience.
  • Operations & Supervision
    • Oversee daily operations across multiple studios, ensuring a clean, welcoming, premium client experience.
    • Supervise instructors and ensuring accountability and professionalism.
    • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and issue resolution.
  • Reporting & Accountability
    • Generate daily sales/activity reports to track lead calls, conversions, and studio performance.
    • Submit weekly KPI reports (membership growth, churn, Google reviews, revenue metrics) to ownership.
    • Take ownership of meeting or exceeding performance targets.

Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)

  • Direct sales experience (comfortable making calls, closing memberships, and hitting sales targets).
  • Marketing experience (understanding and creating lead funnels, promotions, or community outreach through Momence Software).
  • Supervisory/management experience (hiring, training, or managing a team).
  • Fitness industry experience strongly preferred (Pilates, fitness studios, gyms, or related).

Additional qualities:

  • Highly organized and proactive; able to manage multiple priorities across locations.
  • Tech-savvy; familiarity with studio management software (Momence, Mindbody, Arketa, etc.) is a plus.
  • Passionate about health, wellness, and delivering an outstanding client experience.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base salary (full-time) $60,000-$70,000 based on experience.
  • Monthly performance-based bonuses tied to membership sales, retention, and reviews (OTE $75,000-$85,000+).
  • Paid time off and complimentary Pilates classes.
  • Significant career growth opportunity as we expand to 3+ locations by year-end and add more locations in the future.

👉 To Apply: Submit your resume and a short cover letter explaining your direct sales, marketing, and supervisory experience — and why you’d be a great fit to help grow Avondale House during this expansion phase.
