About the Role

The Learning & Development (L&D)  Associate at Charlie Health plays a pivotal role in ensuring our clinical team members are equipped, supported, and set up for success. This role focuses on driving impact by designing and executing high-quality training initiatives that directly contribute to the retention, satisfaction, and performance of our clinicians. The L&D Associate serves as a key strategist and architect of our training programs, ensuring that workflows, product updates, and new processes are rolled out thoughtfully and effectively. This includes fostering seamless collaboration between Care Strategy, Engineering, Onboarding, and Clinical Leadership teams, guaranteeing that every launch is proactive, clear, and aligned with our mission. As a gatekeeper of change, the L&D Associate ensures that all training initiatives are intentional, timely, and beneficial to both our team and our clients, ultimately enhancing the quality of care we provide.

Responsibilities

Training Support & Coordination

  • Assist in developing and maintaining facilitator guides, workbooks, and e-learning modules
  • Coordinate training schedules, onboarding logistics, and CEU programs
  • Track training completion rates and certification requirements
  • Maintain and update the Learning Management System (LMS)

Content Development & Communication

  • Support the creation and refinement of clinical training materials, assessments, and job aids
  • Assist in crafting engaging training documentation for workflows and platform updates
  • Prepare and distribute training communications and clinical updates

Program Development & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Help build structured training pathways based on performance metrics
  • Partner with subject matter experts to enhance learning initiatives
  • Gather feedback from clinical teams to improve training effectiveness
  • Support mentorship programs and technology training across departments

Quality & Continuous Improvement

  • Analyze training data to measure impact and identify areas for growth
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in clinical education methodologies
  • Monitor compliance and optimize training programs based on key performance indicators

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Education, Psychology, Instructional Design, or related field (required)
  • Proficiency in LMS administration and content management preferred
  • Experience with virtual training platforms and video conferencing tools preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the team and clients
  • Work authorized in the United States and native or bilingual English proficiency
  • Familiarity with and willingness to use cloud-based communication software—Google Suite, Slack, Zoom, Dropbox, Salesforce–in addition to EMR and survey software on a daily basis. 
  • Please note that members of this team who live within 45 minutes of a Charlie Health office are expected to adhere to a hybrid work schedule

The total target base compensation for this role will be between $62,000 and $80,000 per year at the commencement of employment. Please note, pay will be determined on an individualized basis and will be impacted by location, experience, expertise, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. Further, cash compensation is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may include stock options and other Charlie Health-sponsored benefits. #LI-HYBRID
