Job Description

Reporting to the VP of Vertical Sales, the Director of Sales will help build our gym and commercial business. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to promote growth and customer development across our Commercial, Gyms and Studios verticals. This role requires an individual with a deep understanding and solid relationships within the gym vertical and who can quickly drive scale and profitability

Responsibilities

  • Commercial Planning and Development
    • Build and execute a market roadmap to drive sales and distribution of our competitive line of equipment across gym chains and independents in the US. International is a bonus.
    • Identify target opportunities, develop timelines, and model financial success while hitting quarterly sales targets
    • Develop and maintain actionable business plans by account – work to upsell accounts to a holistic solution inclusive of commercial weight, cardio and strength products
  • Sales Activity
    • Develop a target list of potential partners, profile customers, plan activities and update CRM
    • Maintain and develop new relationships and seek new opportunities
    • Prepare and present sales materials, including price quotes, deal terms, delivery, customer service, etc.
  • Partnership
    • Work closely with the cross-functional team – Marketing, Digital, Product Development – to plan and execute the strategic plan with excellence
    • Partner with the partner corporate teams to develop and present account-specific programming
  • Financial Management
    •  Have strong focus on both achieving the fiscal year revenue and EBITDA goals
    • Accurately report and forecast the business on a monthly and quarter basis
    • Review monthly sales and inventory data where available, seeking out opportunities to drive larger partnerships with accounts

Requirements

  • 10+ years Sales and Key Account Experience
  • Experience in the Fitness, Specialty, Commercial, Gym industry
  • Proven leadership experience
  • Experience of managing a Sales teams
  • Strong negotiation and financial acumen
  • Familiarity with working in a fast-paced, global environment.
