Dyaco Canada Inc., based in Niagara Falls, Ontario, is a leading provider of innovative fitness equipment, outdoor play, and e-mobility solutions committed to enhancing the health and well-being of individuals across Canada is seeking a National Sales & Marketing Manager. Reporting to the president, the National Sales and Marketing Manager will lead a team of skilled sales and marketing professionals to achieve the company’s revenue and profitability goals in the Canadian market.

This is an in-office role. Applicants must be legally able to work in Canada and out of our Niagara Falls, Ontario office.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Starting salary range between $105,000 – $115,000 CAD based on experience and skill.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Meet or exceed marketing and sales financial objectives.

  • Understand company objectives and develop and research new business opportunities and sales and marketing strategies, develop pricing strategies, and negotiate contracts.
  • Effectively manage sales channel – selling objectives, deploying required support, developing sales and marketing KPIs, and meeting with key customers.
  • Create and implement short and long-term marketing strategies to meet sales team goals and annual sales targets.
  • Organize and facilitate weekly sales and marketing meetings to track KPIs.
  • Preparing action plans to identify targets, identifying new sales opportunities, preparing presentations, communicating new services and products, coordinating across departments, and implementing sales activities.
  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories, projecting expected sales volume, and profit for existing and new products.

 

Foster a culture of continuous process improvement with in-depth knowledge of the products and services offered by Dyaco Canada Inc. and the selling skills required to present those offerings to our customers.

  • Manage human resource functions, e.g. recruiting, selecting, training, coordinating, and coaching employees.
  • Assess the knowledge & selling skills capabilities of the sales personnel to set and reinforce expectations through verbal and written coaching.
  • Provide career development and coaching/mentoring to your team.
  • Demonstrate superior technical selling skills and knowledge of the products offered and the benefits thereof.
  • Ensure reports and other internal intelligence and insight are provided to the sales and marketing team.
  • Manage and implement the sales forecasting, planning and buyer-driven sales and marketing processes, establishing high levels of quality, accuracy and process consistency for the sales and marketing organization.

 

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

 

Need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a relevant field
  • 5-10 years of experience in a managerial position
  • Minimum 2 years of national account management experience
  • History of successfully meeting sales goals
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO/SEM/Digital marketing techniques and best practices
  • Documented experience in training and developing employees
  • Excellent negotiation and leadership skills

 

Nice to have:

  • MBA or relevant graduate degree
  • Experience in fitness equipment, e-bike, or similar durable goods industries
  • Proven presentation, performance management, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
  • Previous CRM and database management experience
  • Completion of a formal sales training program within the last five years
  • Understanding of sales and marketing performance metrics
  • Strong business acumen with a problem-solving attitude
