The Senior System and Security Administrator will lead NOBULL’s IT infrastructure strategy, focusing on designing, implementing, and managing robust, scalable, and secure systems. This senior-level role involves shaping the architecture across cloud, identity, security, and enterprise applications, ensuring that all IT solutions align with NOBULL’s growth strategy and cybersecurity priorities. NOBULL has a cloud and SaaS first model and the role will require being familiar with a variety of SaaS products that support the organization. 
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze system requirements, translating business needs into technical solutions. 
  • Lead the architectural design and integration of NOBULL’s enterprise systems, focusing on identity management (SSO/SCIM) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure). 
  • Manage the lifecycle of enterprise applications, including M365 Suite, Google Workspace, Slack, and Zendesk. 
  • Ensure seamless integration of DNS, Email Security (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), and device management tools like Kandji MDM, Intune MDM and NinjaOne MDM​ 
  • Maintain Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) principles across all systems using Zscaler for secure remote access and Cisco Meraki for network management and optimization 
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, architects, and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. 
  • Establish and enforce architectural standards, best practices, and guidelines to ensure consistency and maintainability of systems. 
  • Develop and enforce IT security frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, SOC 2) across NOBULL’s tech stack. 
  • Oversee and improve the deployment of security tools, including SentinelOne, Zscaler, Mimecast, and Datadome​.
  • Act as a key stakeholder in DNS management, brand protection, and email deliverability​. 
  • Lead change control board for SaaS products and act as a stakeholder for approval.
  • Architect and maintain small Kubernetes clusters hosted on Azure, ensuring it meets performance and security best practices. 
  • Administer the Microsoft 365 tenant and provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 Support.
  • Other system responsibilities as directed by the VP of IT.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. 
  • Experience: 10+ years in IT systems architecture, with a strong focus on security, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise applications. 
  • Expertise in AWS, Azure, M365, and Google Workspace ecosystems. 
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks like NIST CSF, SOC 2, and DTSP SAFE. 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define data cataloging, metadata management, and master data strategies. 
  • Manage relationships with key vendors, Managed Service Providers (MSPs), partners ensuring alignment with NOBULL’s operational needs​ 
  • Evaluate and onboard third-party tools to enhance productivity and security. 
  • Preferred Certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or CISSP are a plus.
