About LEVL

LEVL is building the future of strength training.

We’re a fitness technology company (Formerly called Speede) focused on making sophisticated, science-backed strength training accessible to everyone—from people just beginning their strength journey to experienced athletes looking to perform at a higher level.

Our Gowanus studio is part production studio, part training space, and part clubhouse. It’s where we film workouts, develop new programming, work with coaches and creators, test new ideas, and introduce people to LEVL.

We’re looking for an energetic, highly organized Studio & Content Coordinator to help us run it.

The Role

This is a hands-on, entry-level role at the intersection of fitness, content, production, technology, and social media.

On production days, you’ll help make sure the studio is ready before the first person walks through the door—and keep everything running smoothly once they do. Between shoots, you’ll help us organize content and turn what happens inside the studio into social posts that introduce LEVL, our trainers, and our approach to strength to a much larger audience.

Some days that means preparing equipment and loading workouts into the LEVL platform. Other days it might mean greeting an athlete or creator, managing call sheets, capturing behind-the-scenes video, organizing footage, or helping get a post out the door.

We’re a small team. The ideal person notices what needs to happen and makes it happen.

What You’ll Do

Studio + Production

  • Open and prepare our Gowanus studio for filming, workouts, events, and talent visits
  • Make sure LEVL equipment, production gear, and the training floor are organized and ready
  • Load and verify workouts and routines in the LEVL system before shoots
  • Help manage call sheets, schedules, workout information, and production materials
  • Welcome trainers, athletes, creators, crew, and guests and get them oriented
  • Help keep shoots on schedule and anticipate what the production team and talent need
  • Reset equipment and the studio between sessions
  • Keep drinks, snacks, towels, and other studio essentials stocked
  • Make sure the space stays organized, welcoming, and camera-ready
  • Pitch in wherever needed when something unexpected comes up

Content + Social

  • Capture behind-the-scenes photos and short-form video during workouts, shoots, events, and studio visits
  • Spot great moments that can become social content
  • Organize and manage captured social assets
  • Assist with simple editing, captioning, formatting, and publishing for Instagram, TikTok, and other channels
  • Help manage our social calendar and make sure planned content gets out the door
  • Work with our trainers, athletes, and creators to help amplify content they create with LEVL
  • Bring ideas. We want someone who understands how people actually consume fitness content and is excited to experiment.

Who We’re Looking For

You don’t need years of production or fitness-industry experience. You do need to be dependable, curious, organized, proactive, and comfortable taking initiative.

You might be a great fit if you:

  • Love fitness, strength training, sports, or wellness
  • Are extremely reliable and comfortable being the person others depend on
  • Are naturally organized and notice details other people miss
  • Are confident interacting with everyone from production crews to trainers, athletes, and creators
  • Understand Instagram, TikTok, and short-form video and are curious about why certain content works
  • Can shoot a good photo or video on your phone and have an eye for what looks good
  • Learn new software and technology quickly
  • Don’t mind rolling up your sleeves, moving equipment, stocking a refrigerator, or solving a problem five minutes before a shoot
  • Like the energy, ambiguity, and opportunity of working at a startup

Experience with tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, Canva, social publishing platforms, cameras, or production workflows is helpful but not required.

A personal training, strength coaching, or group fitness certification is a plus, but not required.

Why LEVL?

This is an entry-level position, but it isn’t a sit-in-the-corner internship.

You’ll work directly alongside the team building LEVL and get exposure to fitness programming, coaches and creators, video production, social strategy, AI-enabled creative workflows, and what it actually takes to build a new consumer fitness brand.

For someone interested in a career in fitness, content, production, social media, or startups, there’s a lot to learn here—and plenty of opportunity for the role to grow with the company.

Location: Gowanus, Brooklyn Schedule: Approximately 20–25 hours per week, concentrated around studio production days and events. Some early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends may be required. Compensation: $30–$40/hour, depending on experience.

Perks: Access to LEVL training and our Gowanus studio, plus the opportunity to learn directly from experienced fitness, content, and production professionals.Location: We are right off the Smith/9th street stop of the F and G trains.
