The Lead Trainer Role:
The Lead Trainer is the leader of the Training Team and an integral part of the Pvolve Murfreesboro community. They exude Pvolve core values, modeling outstanding performance and professionalism. The Lead Trainer is also responsible for leading all ongoing training initiatives as directed by Pvolve Corporate to ensure quality standards of the Pvolve brand at the Murfreesboro studio.
After successfully completing the 100-hour immersive corporate training program, the Lead Trainer will assist the corporate training team to ensure that all aspects of the class experience are thriving at their local studio.
In addition to ongoing training, the Lead Trainer will be the go-to person for questions, concerns, and mentorship amongst the Murfreesboro trainer team. They will organize team meetings, and serve as a liaison to corporate to ensure that the trainers are delivering effective, energizing, and creative classes in line with the Pvolve Method.

The Pvolve Lead Trainer is amongst the industry’s most seasoned and experienced fitness trainers and leaders. They take pride in their craft and are continuously seeking to refine the art of teaching. They are lifelong learners and continuously strive to be the best version of themself through feedback, mentorship, and education. In addition to crafting unparalleled fitness experiences for clients, Lead Trainers work to mentor, empower, inspire, and elevate the trainer team they oversee. They are simultaneously natural born leaders and teachers, finding joy and fulfillment in developing other trainers, as well as entrepreneurial-minded specialists, understanding the niche business nuances of the boutique fitness studio instruction.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain 10-15 teaching hours per week
- Lead the Trainer Team through Management and Mentorship by overseeing:
- New Trainer hiring, onboarding, training and integration
- Serve as an expert on sequencing, client connecting, alignment, motivation, music, vocals, and social media to embody and model the Pvolve class experience
- Provide continuing education and training to the Trainer Team as directed by corporate
- Be present / lead Trainer Team meetings
- Collaborate cross-functionally with the Studio Owner and Studio Manager to develop initiatives as they pertain to Trainer performance, strategic schedule optimization, promotions, client attendance and retention, and other operational tasks as directed
- Keep up-to-date on the fitness industry, staying informed of competitive offerings and opportunities for improvement
- Attend & successfully complete the Pvolve corporate required 100-hour Lead Trainer training (at-home study, virtual Zoom sessions, in-market immersives, in-person Pop Up training at a corporate-owned studio)
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3+ years of professional experience teaching group fitness
- Preferred 1 year experience leading, coaching and mentoring a trainer team
- Experience leading successful teacher trainings, to ensure high-quality standards
- Rich understanding of safe exercise practices, anatomy, alignment, physiology, and proper movement execution
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Current Trainer certification from select accredited certifying bodies, including, but not limited to: ACSM, ACE, NASM, NSCA, ISSA, AFAA, Pilates, Barre, Yoga, Lagree
