We are seeking a Business Analytics Manager (Marketing) who is adept at leveraging data to forge impactful marketing strategies. In this role, you will take the lead in analyzing and enhancing our understanding of marketing investments, delving into the intricacies of how this spend influences our brand and performance metrics. By identifying the incremental gains from these investments, you will spotlight opportunities for not only advancing growth but also driving efficiencies across various marketing channels. Your work will be pivotal in refining our marketing strategies to optimize resource allocation and maximize return on investment. Through your detailed analyses, you will guide our efforts in fine-tuning our go-to-market strategies, ensuring they are robust, data-driven, and aligned with our overarching business objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Partner with marketing to analyze and enhance the effectiveness of brand and performance marketing investments.
  • Further enhance our attribution modeling across channels, ensuring accurate measurement of marketing impact.
  • Utilize a robust understanding of experimentation and testing strategies to collaborate with the web team, ensuring that digital marketing efforts are optimized for maximum effectiveness and conversion.
  • Collaborate with the Business Data Science team to refine and improve our Media Mix Model, providing actionable and measurable recommendations to marketing leadership.
  • Help quantify cannibalization across different sales channels (Direct-to-Consumer, Wholesale, etc.), assisting in the optimal allocation of marketing budgets.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with channel managers and knowledge of the digital marketing landscape.
  • Partner closely with the Finance team to gain a deep understanding of CAC and its implications on marketing and business strategy.
  • Communicate complex analytical results clearly and effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executive leadership.
  • Manage, mentor, and grow a team of analysts, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 6+ years of experience in a deeply strategic/analytical role
  • A self-serve player-coach; able to take broad business questions, wrangle appropriate data, quickly isolate and model key insights, visualize results and communicate actionable recommendations
  • Strong storytelling skills – able to create compelling and concise presentations that convey actionable solutions to complex, ambiguous problems
  • Demonstrated success in influencing senior stakeholders and leadership on strategic direction based on analytical recommendations
  • Experience and knowledge running experiments (e.g. A/B testing) and working with development teams
  • Advanced skills in SQL and understanding of ELT (dbt) and data warehousing (Snowflake) structures, as well as data visualization (eg. Looker, Tableau, Hex)
  • Experience leading and developing a team, including driving large projects
